OMG this if fucking stupid. I loved 3 and 4 was going down hill COD ish. The only thing me and my roommate play on my XBOX one is the master chief collection after months of dying to play our broken game. What a damn joke! I never found the time to play the beta, glad I didn't I might be even more pissed if I played it and liked it. This is the reason why I like titan fall but never play it, it's not a social game at home unless my room mate buys an xbox. We currently have a wii u ps3 2 ps4's and an xbox one we don't need another system just to play a game that should offer split screen!

Wait, does this include local multiplayer and taking a team of 4 onto XBL? If so, that sucks.

But it won't be a huge thing to whine about.

Split screen games are such rare occurence these days, it doesn't come as a surprise.
Guess half of it is performance, and the other larger half the need to sell additional online subscriptions.

Hopefully Gears of War will have split screen, I never liked Halo, but Gears games co-op with my wife were great fun.

Why not make the split screen 30fps? Halo always played good in 30fps.

It's no big deal for me, still day one for me.

If that's the case, then my chances of getting an Xbox One will drop to 0. I almost got one for Christmas last year (it was already purchased, actually) but backed out after the MCC issues. I was waiting to see how Halo 5 would turn out, but if there is zero split screen whatsoever, I will definitely not be buying an Xbox One.

I don't mind that multiplayer isn't split screen but the campaign not being split screen really annoys me.
