I think the games will be more different than Links Awakening, The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons, and The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages.

Some of the best games ever are sequels made with reused assets, almost like romhacks.

wow, ppl do actually believe that this game is 3 games in 1.

I guess CD Project should have cut Witcher 3 into 3 games since it was so massive in scope compared to Witcher 2.

But of course they wouldnt do that...

Its not believe, its true. For a Fire Emblem HH game, its definitely 3. If you dont agree thats fine but thats what it is so....

I still think it's dumb as hell...

tbone, I don't really think you can argue this. Fire Emblem 7 had 3 full campaigns in one package for $30.

You're only setting up yourself for disappointment if you think each one is complete on its own.

I don`t think I can agree with that. Lyn`s and Hector`s campaigns were small in comparision to what Fates will be, and they all join up together at some point, in one main compaign. I don`t think FE Blazing Sword can compare to this.

The game is out now. It has been completed, it has been data-mined. Each of the three campaigns has almost as much content as Awakening had in its entirety (sans DLC), without factoring in things like My Castle and real online/local multiplayer. That means all of it. Every map is unique after chapter 6. Each version has a full OST with many unique tracks. The two versions being sold at full price each have about 25 unique recruitable characters in addition to the dozen or so shared characters. Each version also has unique classes, though I don't know how many.

So yeah, if you look at any single version on its own compared to Awakening you've got a full game. This is known. If you pick up a second version after playing one of the others, you aren't looking at a 100% full game's worth of new content, more like maybe 70-80% depending on how much value you place on particular assets (maps vs characters vs music etc). Man, that would sure suck, if you didn't have the option to buy that second campaign for about 40% the price of a full game.

I mean if you buy both versions, for $55-60 you've got almost twice as much content as Awakening.

OMG this game have so many content. Wish I can survive without watching spoilers for this game.

A handheld gamer only (for now).

Still no real informations? You know, numbers like how many chapters per game, how many characters and how many hours per game. Everyone is saying "yeah, it has more content than Awakening", or "it's the biggest FE ever", but can anybody compare the numbers with a simple chart? With Awakening and Radiant Dawn... That would be the best way to stop these debates. Without that, it's still one game and 2 DLCs...

I don't believe the "it has more content than the previous game, it should be sold in two part". Almost every franchise try to have more content in each new game. Nobody ever said "Hey guys, our new game will be bigger than the last one, so we will cut it in two games!".

I'm more interested in the differences between the games. I'm pretty sure to be bored as hell while playing Hoshido, so I will surely buy Nohr only, but what about the third one?
