The bolded part is not helping you here, as you pretty much said that the two versions combined offers about as much content as one of the previous FE games. Those looking for complaints just got some ammo served on a silver plate. "So you'd have to get both versions to get the same amount of content as one game. Wow, by now it's impossible to not see just how greedy Nintendo is."

Basically, thanks to Awakening, you can say ALL alternatives paths/endings or whatever that can be done or shown in a FE game are true.

Having played a number of games where multiple paths are the norm, the split particularly when we know they can all fit on one cart save maybe the third option is lame. They may equal Awakening in overally number of missions but I am never a fan of them seperating content developed at the same time as the rest of a release that seems like it would have worked much better had it been packaged together and then asking folk to pay for it.

Maybe if they released each version of Fates at a price of $29.99 or at regular price and the additional DLC is priced at no more then $10 but I doubt that will be the case.

We already knew this. But they arent completely different games, more like expansions that come out day one.

No matter how you look at it though, its not plauable to buy 3 games at once. It costs a fortune.

So hopefully this game will remain as one game with DLC instead of 2 separate games..

I dont have any problem with this at all.
It is like getting a game + 2 sequels for 70 dollars.

Majora's Mask was also made with the same assests of Ocarina of Time and it is a completely different game.

Dont you people know What If stories from literature or comics?

Alternative stories, what if X had not happened? what would have happened then?
There isnt a true game, you have 3 what if scenarios with different stories, campaigns and maps.
What if MU joins Nohr, what if MU joins Hoshido, what if Mu joins none of them.

This is a very common thing in comics, once a story ends, they sell a what if comic of what would have happened if some important event have ended in a different manner.

I've already be sold on this game since the Iwaka Ask on FE Fates. I can't wait to play this!!! x )

Why wouldn't they? It is 3 games. NSLU is also its own game despite being DLC for example!
