if the rumor is true that nintendo just started talking to 3rd parties this E3 then that implies 3rd parties don't have development kits and that pretty much confirms that 2016 titles are either not going to happen or don't have launch parity (aka late port). with games being as big as they are these days they just can't port to a machine they've only received 6-12 months lead time on.

if launching in 2017 NX is more likely to have 3rd party support at launch with launch parity.

So here are a few things that we have to assume to be able to say if these games will release.

We have to assume it's going to be a rather traditional home console, to make the control scheme of these games a viable option for NX.

We have to assume it is going to release next year. And while a lot of people do, just as many people believe it will be a 2017 released system.

We have to assume it will have at least comparable strength to (at the very least) the Xbone.

I would say it's a bit early for threads like this.
