If he is able to get immigration reform passed to me it will be a 100% success. What do you guys think? What does Obama need to do now to secure his place in history as GOAT?

Well to be perfectly honest, he has to be not black. I think he is pretty damn awesome but there are people who won't give him the time of day because he is black, or hate on him relentlessly for being Democrat.

One thing I think he could do is make Nationwide drug testing for welfare applicants mandatory.

i think people will increasingly recognize that obama has realigned the political system in this country in a fundamental way (for the better). to call him the left's reagan is in some ways to sell him short, because unlike reagan most of what he has done or helped to get done has been positive.

immigration reform will unfortunately not happen, at least not in a big, comprehensive bill. but i think it has to in the next decade or so...

Thank God people here aren't in politics. Obama has caused more debt than EVERY OTHER PRESIDENT EVER PUT TOGETHER and is pushing the U.S. to socialism. He has done more damage than any president.

Speaking of Reagan he was actually the one who signed the 87 Immigration Reform Act.

True. I hope Obama at least plants the seeds for Immigration Reform though. I hope he has one more trick up his sleeve.

Minorities are in a weaker position since he has taken office, healthcare has gone up, taxes have gone up, and he has more debt than every other president ever. Yes, tremendous job Obama

a) obama has been more fiscally conservative than reagan (even tho reagan inherited a much better situation)

b) conservatives were the ones who first supported the individual mandate which is the core of "obamacare", until of course obama supported it and they were suddenly against it--does that make them socialists too?

c) and how do you quantify this? i think the 2008 recession was pretty bad, and that was almost entirely the result of the bush administration
