I'm black, lean left (but not a Democrat). My wife is white and hardcore Republican. She's totally upset about this. I told her that not too long ago our marriage would've been in the same discussion. Good for LGBT people.

Conservative politicians. 

marriage should be a special bond between man and women.
either this tradition should stay intact, or it should be opened completely. e.g allowing polygamy, marriage with underaged (in certain caces only. no 12 years old ofc) etc...

i just don't like this "i need to be allowed and able to get and do everything" attitude in general.
if im a man, im okay to be not allowed to go to the womens bathroom
if im not born in the usa, im okay to be not allowed to become president of the united states
if im not a diplomat im okay with not having diplomatic immunity
if im gay, its okay to be not allowed to have the same marriage, like men and women does and only a same-sex union

i know it's kind of apples and oranges, but it's about the principles.
ofc i do not support any kind of repression against homosexuals, or any other kind of peole.
i just don't think everyone is 100% the same like every other and needs 100% the same rights like every other. (basic and civil rights except, ofc)
