Gents, I'll reiterate some important points you seem to forget. A politically neutral state has NO interest in issuing marriage licenses to gay couples. If it did, it would have occurred commonly in the some tens of thousands of years of human history (anomalous examples does obviate this historic fact).

The whole spiel about love has no basis in reality. At best, gay rights amount to no more than a recognizable civil union. It is a leap of faith to move from freedom of expression and freedom from persecution to marital rights.

The reason this is happening is because Hitler, the only European leader who actively took a stand against venomous Marxist influence, lost the world war. As a result, the left has always been more politically vocal in the West. Left-wing activism is always more militant and prevalent because the right has been significantly weakened since the last world war. The right is now at its most powerful in Islamic countries as well as Eastern Europe and Russia.

Anyone who claims to be on the right politically and who also supports gay rights is ideologically confused.Same thing with these hipster Christians who identify with this rainbow crusade. Gay rights has its roots in Marxism. Marixism is an atheist doctrine and therefore anti-Christian.

and you dont have to be a marxist to be anti-Christian, being educated should be enough(i mean real classical education and not basic math).

lets face it, the bible is written like a book for children, after reading platon or kant you cant take it seriously anymore.

Not quite sure what any of this has to do with 2 people in love having the legal right to marry (and therefore the benefits gained from it) just as any other 2 people do.

It's just in this case, the first couple are both of the same gender, while the latter couple are not.

Great! While I would prefer that married persons didn't get different benefits from single persons I think this is the next best thing and it will lead to more progress (getting the state of marriage.) Like any other contract between two or more private individuals, unless there is force or fraud involived in the contract, government should not be involved. Still this is a great first step!

Not to mention the fact that, speaking only for myself of course; I am not even in the same zipcode of a ballpark that is anywhere near Marxist.

Stances that force the opinion that people must be either or in political, social and legal issues is damaging to any debate, it creates a whirlpool of polarized arguments, if you don't really have a leg to stand on, you polarize the argument (this is exactly what the militant left here in Sweden have been doing).

I'm a tyro history scholar with a vested interest in WW2. Therefore I can use Hitler and the Nazis intelligently in a debate without triggering Godwins law. This isn't some shallow and immature reference. It's poignant historical analysis that traces the political climate in the western world since the 1940's. Gay rights wouldn't be possible today if fascism had prevailed. 

This is also directly related to the decline of religious belief in Europe and North America. Religio depopulata indeed. The rainbow coalition is now the de-facto anti-religion unifying nations all across the occident.

Kant's epistemology is wrong. You don't have to be mentally aware to experience natural phenomena. So say Sartre. 

Platon? You mean Plato? Hilarious you mention one of the initiated philosophers of the ancient world. This considering the Bible is rife with allegories of the same greater mysteries that Plato learned in Egypt.

Only "children" read the Bible literally. Fundamentalists are on grade school level of spirituality. However, atheists are on a kindergarten level. The nadir of spiritual understanding.
