He did say they will bring together their first party gaming efforts, which kinda does mean having the same games on all devices.

And yes Kowenicki, you caught me. I've been a Sony fan in disguise this whole time...

I think MS so far has released some 50 first party games on smartphone and tablet :).

I'm not sure if its 50, but certainly made some. Some of which are actually pretty good.

Those twin stick Halo games are well regarded. Even among Steam users.

Wait, So are these ios android or W phone only ????

Honest never ever heard of them.

Lets say hypothetically every X1 exclusive comes to PC. X1 still has the advantage of being a cheaper device than a gaming PC. Also, X1 doesn't become less entertaining because those same enjoyable games are else where.

Anyhow, I doubt we'll be seeing heavy hitters on X1 coming but I'm all for it it happening eventually. Windows brings in more money than Playstation and Xbox combined. Don't be surprised if MS gives WIndows better support.

People won't see the point in buying a $350 machine to play games they can play on a pc or even their mobile. They would rather just buy a PS4, which is what most people are doing these days anyways.

X1 is still fun to play on, but it doesn't have many selling points or advantages compared to the PS4. You'd think MS would realize that their struggling console needs exclusive exclusives and not just console exclusives to start selling better. But yes, as you said, MS cares about money, and bringing their games to other platforms will earn them lots more money then just keeping them on the X1.

Lol this idea you have of every gamer having or even wanting a gaming PC is ridiculous. When normal people hear computer they don't automatically think "gaming" because that's what a console is for. I know plenty of people who would rather buy a $350 machine they can just plug into their TV and not have to worry about what graphics card they need.

You're ignoring one minor detail. Most people don't have PC or mobile devices that can handle X1 titles. Nor is that ideal way to play games for many. And if Windows/X1 is getting exclusives not coming to PS4, that means Playstation fans are still coming to MS.

X1 isn't just a struggling console, the console gaming industry is a struggling business. Even with PS4 on top this isn't the most profitable Playstation has ever been. Especally with the death of their mobile gaming market. Sony is trying new things like PS Now and PS Vue to expand. Nintendo is making phone games because much of their audience is now playing phones games. Basically, everybody in the console gaming business realizes that userbase is getting smaller. MS bolstering Windows gaming is an obvious move to make given Windows is still a big earner.

Some of their games are on mobile devices only.

The Halo twin stick shooter games also came to PC. Halo: Spartan Assault is on Xbox consoles.

But dude, they can also buy Steam machine. A good one of those will only cost you... $500-600. Which may or may not include a Xbox controller.

1. No... it really doesnt.  it means they will make exclusive ip for all devices, and yes they may converge where possible. But there is no way for instance Forza6 appears on a phone.  ffs, at least think about it  (except of course that I will be able to stream xbox one games to a tablet, phone or pc once windows 10 hits and use my wireless controller too)

2.  I didnt say that, but thanks for your honesty.

they will bring the ips to all platforms. not the acutal! console games
asphalt like forza games to mobile phones, like the did with the halo spartan games

if you want the real forza, halo, gears, rare games, you have to own a pc or xbox still.
streaming could be possible, though.

I never said Forza 6 or any game like that would be on mobile. But from the way he said it, we very well could see Halo, Gears and Forza on pc's. The smaller arcade games will probably also be mobile games.

Yes that's true that most don't have powerful pc's, but PC gaming is much more popular than console gaming. Most people don't have pc's that can run games. but there are more gamers that have gaming pc's than consoles.

PS fans might be coming to MS but not necessarily to Xbox.

It is a struggling console. It's price went from $499 to $349 in a year. Meanwhile, the PS4 hasn't had one single price cut.

And I do agree that it's a struggling unprofitable business that MS is wasting time with.
