Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Iwata: We are prioritizing satisfying customers who purchased the Wii U

So I guess they're going to try and make the NX revolutionary?

There are so many things that can be said, and so few of them are positive.

I only see positive things, i hope iwata is a man of his word, if he is , we will be satisfied

I was talking about the "We are prioritizing satisfying customers who purchased the Wii U" line. A new Mario Tennis and an Amiibo Animal Crossing game is not what I would call prioritizing our satisfaction.

Also, after the disaster that was the launch of the 3DS, Iwata said that they had learned the lesson: not launching their an overpriced console without games. Judging by what happened with WiiU, he was either lying, he thought that lesson applyed only to handhelds, not home console or he simply doesn't know what he's doing.

Make yourself a favor and don't put much hope on Iwata.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Honestly at this point if Nintendo releases everything they announced leading up to E3 and Zelda U, I will be satisfied with what Wii U offered. I've gotten lots of great exclusives and have and had tons of fun with their games. The only thing I'm missing is some love from Metroid and I would say its ok to retire the system without issue. But if SMTxFE is the game I think it will be then that will be plenty for me. My body is ready for NX and I hope it launches in 2016.

He's said before that the Wii U will keep going until the customers are satisfied. He's said before that the NX is going to be a brand new concept. That they can't talk about it this early on, is obvious.

What interests me more is that it seems he's talking in terms of Wii U and 3DS versus the NX. To me, it's the strongest suggestion yet that NX will be a successor to both in some way or form, either as a handheld only, a home console only, a fusion of both or something completely different.

Hopefully this means we will be getting more wiiu/3ds games throughout 2016

3DS lineup is looking good already

Fire Emblem: Fates

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

Metroid Prime: Federation Force

Hyrule Warriors: Legends

Bravely Second

Plus I think we could see Rhythm Heaven & Style Savvy 3 get localized along with the inevitable Pokémon game.

More Mario after Mario Maker? And we already have Amiibo Crossing

I'll be satisfied with:
Advance Wars Unlimited
Endless Ocean III
Wii Sports Land

Well, it's their business to care with the 10m people that got a wiiu. The damn thing isn't even 3 years old, you can't really stop producing games for it.
