Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Iwata: We are prioritizing satisfying customers who purchased the Wii U

imo it all sounds like lip service. I mean not wanting to show it too early so the competition wont steal it? please theyve been saying that crap for years. How could it be stolen their consoles are already out.

Nintendo could've satisfied me by releasing a new Zelda game by now... They haven't delivered... It will be interesting how Nintendo will support their new system, when they've shown that they're incapable of supporting the Wii U.

They showed good support for Wii U till this year, next year is still mystery, even with no new announcements I am happy Wii U owner. I woudnt be so happy whithout Zelda, but we know is coming next year.

The games are good, but there's hardly enough of them. It's the  ultimate drought console.

I don't agree, Wii U for now have Nintendo support like every other Nintendo console, but true is that Wii U don't have 3rd party.

Nintendo is worried about Sony's next-gen handheld, the PSPhoenix.

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Hadn't they killed DS and Wii too early, when they were still strong and could have sold tens million units more, they could have launched both 3DS and Wii U later, cheaper and, for Wii U, with more RAM, allowing the same easy ports from PC that PS4 and XBOne enjoy, not to mention that they managed to make DS and Wii sale plummet many months before 3DS and Wii U launch, tarnishing the brands they want to reuse. Yes, for typical Ninty target PC ports would have been a small extra, but added to lower launch price and more main RAM (the only specs that hardcore gamers not interested in graphics, but in gameplay and game depth, always appreciate) could have made Wii U if not a blockbuster, at least a decent seller.
