as lack of a Nintendo made campaign been confirmed? To be fair though it would be the first level editor sold at full pr that that ice without one (not that that is an excuse mind you) the game also comes with a book, if that book is worth the extra cash is yet to be known but it's there. The price it's self is also not official yet and amazon has been known to speculate.

From the looks of it, it's sizzle vs. steak.

The price seems justified.

There are 100 levels already on the game, plus the level editor, plus level sharing. I think 60$ is a good price

There will be 100 levels from Nintendo included. That is clearly as much of a "story mode" as any SMB game has ever contained.

Plus the capability to create your own levels spanning the entire legacy that is SMB (excluding the bastard that was US SMB2, though I actually really like that game).

There is no way you can really argue this game is not worth its stand-alone price.

If they are already releasing a lot of levels (over 100, I believe?) I don't really see a point in creating a story mode..

Super Mario Maker is a full price game and I'm fine with that.

Its infinite 2D Marios...

The only downside is - will Nintendo doesn't need to release a 2D Mario themselves anymore soon.

Maybe if they come up with a new mechanic. But still even those could be offered via an DLC to Super Mario Maker...

more well looking game? the whole point of it is that you use the different stiles of the different games in the franchise. A story mode? No body cares about a story mode in Mario but if you mean just levels then they have done that with 100 levels already in the game plus you get endless fun and if that is not worth the price then I don't know what is. I don't know your play style but this is more than most AAA games out there lol "AAA"

They said not anymore this gen, but maybe a new one for the succesor (NX).
