Treyarch, on the other hand, does have a basis to build on in Black Ops 2. Three years definitely have helped as the game looks good so far to me; sans weapon balancing issues. However, thanks to a beta week, most of these issues will be ironed out. Furthermore, Black Ops 2 was the best Call of Duty the series has had. While itnwas no doubt the peak in terms of sales, the game was arguably the most balanced game since Modern Warfare. I am sure David Vonnderhaar will not let three years go to waste. If he made Black Ops 2 a success, then there is reason to believe the extra year will affect the game tremendously.
