How much do you think they paid? They get money from every copy sold, so even if it was $10million, selling just 2.5million and getting $5 per copy is enough to make money back... although, they'd make more if they didn't do the deal at all. CoD doesn't need that kind of advertising, it'll sell regardless.

Maybe they paid nothing i dont know. They get money by every sold copie anyway. Partnership or not ;)

This Partnership would be cool back in the MW2 Days. But cod is such big bullshit right now, its sad

The PS4 will edge it but if the deal continues over the years the gap will grow. Thousands of COD players will suddenly discover this Christmas that their thumbs are of equal length ...

Funny 2 of my friends, who don't really play anything other than COD, switched to Xbox One after Ghosts. Now are trading their Xbox One and coming back to PS4 because of this deal. It'll be nice to have friends i've been playing with since MW1 back, but personally i think it's ridiculous that they are switching over COD DLC.

This. Its going to stab them in the back later on, especially as more 360 owners move to the XB1.

I expect a very close battle, but i will go with PS4.


Don't forget that Halo 5 is direct competition for COD on XB1...  I expect that COD will sell better on PS4 in NA and I think it might actually reach a 2 to 1 sale ratio worldwide.

Bit to high, probably closer to 1.5:1, though it'll still be quite close in NA. Also since Halo 5 is there, I think Microsoft wants to devert attention from COD, and instead focus on Halo this holiday season.

How is it going to stab them in the back? nearly half of 360 owners that have switched are jumping to a competing platform anyway. So far this percentage has been growing, not dwindling lol.
