I am against capital punishment - there are a few cases in which it's absolutely clear who the perpetrator is, but those are usually really rare, so I can live with those people living behind bars for the rest of their lives, but I can't and won't ever approve of people being put to death with insufficient information (which obviously can lead to wrongful convictions)

I'm fond of capital punishment in concept, but its execution leaves much to be desired, as does that horrible pun.

If I were 100% certain person commited a very serious crime, I would personally kill him without any remorse. But there's so much media backlash on any death penalty case, and the trials are so long and expensive, that it is not worth it at all. I'm favorable of longer and expensive trials, but death sentences cost like 20 times more, it's unfair to people who commited less serious crimes and get a cheaper judgement.

Killers don't deserve to live that includes people ordering others to kill for them for their own interest of power!

We take people who kill others and keep them locked against their will because kidnapping people is ok.
