Death sentence is the perfect example of when two wrongs don't make a right. Extremely unprofessional of a judge to make personal remarks in court as well, he should let the sentence speak for itself.

When I was young I didnt believe in the death sentence for murder but as you get older you get to understand reality a bit more. I reject the two wrongs dont make a right though as that makes it sound like two equal wrongs when one is the murdering of innocent lives and the other is putting an evil person to death. To me two wrongs would be first the commiting of the crime and the second wrong would be incorrect punishment where the person gets a prison sentence and years later gets out and continues their live when they have taken the lives of others, that to me would be the second wrong.

I despise death sentence,

Put him to death; he took more than one life, so it's more than fair to have his taken.

I would fully believe in the death sentence if we could be 100% percent certain that the accused is guilty of taking an innocent life/lives.

The religious people who bring their religious propaganda trying to vanish the death penalty just because their book says so sometimes make me feel like supporting it, though.

In many cases they were 100% that they knew it was the killer, turned out the real killer made fake evidence, so an innocent guy just knew he was gonna die because he was innocent, imagine that. I hate death sentence

Why should the american tax payer pay to keep his sorry ass alive when that money could be used to save many lives or improve others. He isn't safe to release, he has taken many lives as long as we are certain of his guilt he deserves to die. I can understand a waiting period to make sure the evidence is thoroughly checked but then he should be humanely and privately killed and his ashes should be scattered and not given back to the relatives.

He may have genuine regrets for what he has done or he may just be pretending but whatever he has taken away the lives of others and those people are gone completely from existence and so should he.

We allow good people to starve to death in poor countries so we can certainly let evil scum be put to death who had huge advantages in life but still took innocent lives.

It's actually more expensive to put somebody to death than it is to keep it hem in prison for life.

personally, I just don't think the death penalty makes sense. I don't think our justice system should be in the business of revenge. They should be making our country safer and keeping someone in prison for life does that just as well as killing them.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Judge George O'Toole formally sentenced Tsarnaev to death, a decision already made by a federal jury.

"Whenever your name is mentioned, what will be remembered is the evil you did," the judge told him. "What will be remembered is you murdered and maimed innocent people."

I hope the judge in Dylan Roof's case will find similar words instead of speaking of forgiveness and that crap (like he did a few days ago).

Whether it's right or not, he is going to die, and I will not lose a second of sleep over it.

These people believe if they die because of their holy war bullsh*t, they go to heaven.

Better to force feed them bacon, and let them live in a tiny cell. Inform them when they die, they ll be burried in bacon fat.
