No, not even 95-98. I'm having my doubts. Zelda U sounds like a wish came true for many reviewers, one that resembles a lot from the original game, one that is "open world". But critics will definitely complain about Gamepad usage and mediocre story. I find it inevitable.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Its possible. But there'll always be GameSpot to bring that Metascore down if ya know what I mean.

Probably not on Metacritic as OoT is a 99 there, but it probably could in Gamerankings, it would have to beat Super Mario Galaxy there.

I do think the game will be mindblowing. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess had 96, which is hopefully a number that it could reach. If you don't have at least 95 as a console 3D Zelda game you kind of failed lol.

95-97 is still incredibly high

Not even the nostalgia heavy A Link Between Worlds could achieve that score (91), so i vote NO.

I don't think it's possible, but I really don't care for scores that much, I just want a Zelda game that can top Wind Waker for me.

It will most likely be in the 90s, but nothing can top OoT's Meta score.
