I think maybe. A price cut and cheaper games will give it a little more life til it gets to 100 million userbase, maybe pushing it in lower income countries at this point. It will take some time til Sony decides to stop producing them, it won't get many AAA games but still get the work done for the annual and casual games.

I can't see this happening. It still has about 15 million to go and it's selling on average worse than the wii u is weekly. I know a price cut may help it a bit, but I can't see 100 million, maybe 90 million, but even I doubt that.

Looks like it will not even sell 90 million, in my opinion. Next year there's a good 80% chance that COD will not be released for seventh generation consoles.
