Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Gears of War 360 vs XB1 - Downgrading in action?

I don't get it. If people don't like the remaster, just stick the original in the Xbox One and bam... there ya go.

Well, there is the tiny problem of the original not yet being part of the backwards compatible list yet, but other than that, sure.

There is a pic in the thread showing a wide view of the Gridlock map including the water section. If anyone can look at it and honestly say downgrade then they are just trolling or feigning concern.

Well, what else is there to say? Other than it's funny people try to give the game the tag "last gen" there is enough in this thread to show that this game technically is not a downgrade or last gen but they don't care anyway :)

Do you really think Gears of War, probably the second biggest first party franchise/exclusive IP, won't be backwards compatible? I mean, on MS's own website, if you look at the picture of their list... and imagine of GOW is right there.. in the background lol

It's not the water that annoys me, rather Marcus himself. Seriously what did they do to him?

It isn't available now though, which is what matters.

My point is, there will be options. If people hate the remaster, they WILL be able to play it on their console if they want to. There's no pressure or someone holding a gun to their heads.

Just seems silly when you're talking about a BC console, to talk about crappy remasters (not saying it's going to be crappy).

dont worry Xbox One has BC seriously wtf MS

You guys are seriously boring

And there are many people already played the GOWU beta.

the water still looks better on X360

LMAO if that is real.

Not only are the graphics worse, they completely messed up the gritty atmosphere of the original!
