Yeah, the new water in the Gears of War remaster looks horrible. Highly doubt it's due to a downgrade but rather due to artistic differences wanted by producers in the remaster.

My Score: 7.8/10 ( Bad Water )

The water looks strange but it isn't a downgrade compared to 360, rather a different style all together.

This is fake yeah?? Everything in the Xbox One version looks worse to me.
Surely MS haven't got another f'ed up remaster on their hands for XBO.

Assuming this is at the same angle of the 360 version, where is all the background landscape and buildings in the X1 version??

For me it looks as if they want to get a more cartoony style and if there are waves which should be more impressive from a technical perspective as some flat water but I like the cartoony look not so much for Gears, it should be all more dark (not dark because of bad lighting like on 360 but dark as "gritty")

XB1 cant handle that kind of draw distance

there are big waves now, I guess they thought that it would be unrealistic to have these waves if there is another isle close to that so that it was a decision between bigger waves or the isle. 

Edit: Also once again good to know why I'm pretty much only in the Xbox thread nowadays, every other thread about Xbox games is about downplaying everything nowadays. 

Only the water looks bad in the remaster from the images I could see until now.
