Its intresting to see how well these games sell on there consoles. Considering there both Sci-Fi shooters, and both titans in there own industies, its made me wonder and think.. which game will sell better on X1? Star Wars is a movie giant and is possiably the best Sci-Fi franchise in the world while Halo is a gaming giant and quite possibly the best Sci-Fi shooter in the gaming world. Based off past history with movie franchises crossing over to games and games crossing over to movies, dont normally do the brands justice. Mickey Mouse, one of the worlds most iconic characters came to gaming and failed to overthrown Mario in his playground. Star Wars the old Republic (PC-MMO) came into the industry to claim king in the MMO industry and failed to knock World of Warcraft off its throne. Now it leaves me with this thought. Could Battlefront out sell Halo, the king of Sci-Fi FPS in the video game market or would history repeat itself?

Sales doesnt determine the quality of a product so either way i will be buying both on Day One because they both look fantastic. This is just a friendly opinion so no flame wars. I only want to compare Battlefront on PS4 to Halo 5 on X1 since its not multiplat.

on XB1 Halo will surely outsell BF. but BF will outsell halo on PS4 and XB1. not a fair comparison though. but both will sell a lot. im betting Battlefront will sell 10M+ by end of march next year.

Imo, i think Halo 5 will sell better even than the PS4 version of Battlefront... defenitive more than the XB1 version,

joke thread as HALO is biggest franchise of MICROSOFT and the game that made XBOX as a brand.

though MICROSOFT has been milking the shit out of HALO over the last 8 years but its still BIG and especially with MICROSOFT funding and and BIG marketing campaign,it will do wonders

So obviously i will expect it to do more than 10million in sales but could do less because of XBONE sales but as MICROSOFT bundles so heavily,it will reach there easily.

As for BATTLEFRONT,its more of a PLAYSTATION game in a way that most BIG STAR WARS games came out on PS2 and PS3 & 360 other than THE FORCE UNLEASHED got nothing.

But SONY has sequred BATTLEFRONT marketing,DLC and BUNDLE rights for PS4 so now its all-out a PLAYSTATION game

I think SONY and EA will spent BIG TIME on BATTLEFRONT as EA has a 10 year deal for STAR WARS games and they want to make as much money as they can and BATTLFRONT brand name should help and especially they would like to start well.SONY will also spend BIG TIME,almost as big as they will market CALL OF DUTY on PS4 as STAR WARS is the biggest franchise in Entertainment and with STAR WARS 7 releasing,they could hit it BIG.

I initially thought BATTLEFRONT would do easily 10-15million and close to 20million but after NO Single Players,Space Battles and Other things and the bad press and user backlash it was getting,i though it cud bomb BIG TIME.But after E3 gameplay,i have hope again.

I think if game is good,it will easily do 10million and if really good and maketed BIG TIME,it cud be close to 15-20million also.

PS4 - 5million(low end) - 12million(high end)

XBONE - 3million(low end) - 7million(high end)

PC - lol.............who the fuck cares........and PC sales suck

Halo will outsell Battlefront (PS4) quite easily. Make that CoD instead and you've got an interesting question though.
