I didn't think this a few months ago, but Mario Maker could be the wildcard that really takes off for Nintendo this year. Depending on how it is marketed, I am starting to agree that this game could even be as big as MK8.

Imagine if the Wii U had a price-cut to go with the release of MM!

I went to the event as well. At least 30 people went to my store. Got my pin, splatoon posters, and many many stickers from previous 3DS/Wii U games. Loved Mario Maker, I'm now a believer that the game is worth full price. My first level was "My Body is Ready" or soething like that where once you grab a special mushroom you turn into the Wii-Fit Trainer. Also tried Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes which was kinda fun, but it failed to convince me that it's worth more than $20. It should be a downloadable game. Overall, it was the first Nintendo event hosted by Best Buy that I had the chance to Attend, and i grabbed a lot of Street-Passes, but most of all I had fun.

Good to hear that SMM is looking to have the impact I'd hoped for. Keep up the effort and drop the price of WiiU when the game launches, Nintendo.
