Forums - Gaming Discussion - Star Fox Wii U (2015) hardly looks better than Star Fox Assault (2005)

Honestly, I thought people would be able to tell the difference between the real GameCube version at 480p and the enhanced Dolphin Emulator version at 1080p. :P

Try using the real GameCube version for comparison instead of the version that runs on the Dolphin Emulator for PC, pal.

While it's true that Zero could look better, I don't know what to say regarding the thread topic. Even with the Dolphin emulation, I think the WiiU game looks much better than the GC game.

If the gameplay is Star Fox quality, I could give a rat ass if it's ugly.

Is that played on Gamecube or on a Dolphin emulator? Because if it is the original on Gamecube then that looks amazing for a Gamecube game, wow.

What you're doing is comparing a facebook profile picture to a diver's licence one. Nice try though.

Dolphin. It's wide screen native and no aliasing. It is also upscaled to render at 1080p.

Dolphin Emulator

Is it just me or does it seem like sf assault is a little faster paced?

Not faster paced, but there are more enemies. At the treehouse they stated the builds were early too and that there were going to be more enemies added before the game releases.
