i defended the orginal release of destiny but the expansions really burned me. bungie is really going to have to prove to me that now isn't the time to bail on the franchise. i'm waiting for reviews on this one.

not buying this just like i didnt buy the dlc. destiny so far is my biggest disappointment this gen so far. i expected so much more from the people that created halo

Words genuinely fail me here.

I can get how somebody can defend the main game and maybe one or two of the expansion packs and maybe even Dinklebots VO but how can a sane person bow down bow down (or bend over in this case) to this sort of BS from bungie?

Returning to Halo roots my arse. These clowns have lost it.

Hard to believe that these are the same developers that gave us Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3. First they release a game that doesn't hold a candle to Halo, then the whole Marty thing happens and now this BS? Ironic that they escaped MS to most likely get away from Halo and here they are not even a year after the release of Destiny releasing an expansion that is mostly being praised for returning to those roots.

I have been playing Destiny regularly since Alpha, and I aaaaalmost have it platinumed.

- The $60 base game did not have enough content in it
- I bought the 2 expansions, they did not have enough content for $35

Sorry Bungie, but I don't think that The Taken King is going to have $40 worth of content. My money is going to be better spent elsewhere, I'm passing on this.

Also, that eurogamer article didn't help: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-06-22-destiny-the-taken-king-director-defends-40-expansion-price-tag

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Red Bull campaign.

OMG, This game and its DLC policy is a gift that keeps on giving:
The "epic, new quest" is a "never-before-seen, multistage mission in The Taken King that will test the speed and strategic abilities of Destiny players in new ways."
The quest will be exclusive to Red Bull via an access code under the tab of promotional cans that can be entered on the site and requires The Taken King to be able to play.

To quote a wiseman.. "Without a doubt, the pricing model rewards loyalty."
