I prefer regular... is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more funny, and generally have more splatoon soul... what's you think?

Both are good. I prefer regular to ranked just because there's more areas to cover (no pun intended). Imo, ranked is flawed because you're "ranked" based on how well your team does, not yourself. If they changed that so you would rank depending on only what YOU did within the game, then it would be a lot better.

Definitely regular. It's more open and free, and I find that it's easier to carry a team in that mode.

Regular just because is not as frustrating as ranked battles. Bad teammates in regular is something I can tolerate but bad teammates in ranked battles is one of the most frustating issues I have ever deal with in videogames

^it can be annoying but the reward is greater. plus, the chaotic struggle to win the zones are epic.

Thing is, I MIGHT like Splat Zones more than Turf Wars, but, the ranking kinda kills it for me. I mean when I first heard about it was excited, but after playing it I realized, when I loose in Turf Wars I just say oh well and start the next match, often times I'm even so amused by the way we lost I'm even laughing after a loss. Ranked battle on the other hand I find myself raging at when I lose a lot in a row.

Strongly prefer ranked battle, the Splat Zone mode is just great fun to me.

Maybe because I am better at it than in Ranked battles. :P

They're both great, but Regular/Turf War is my fave! The entirety of each map is relevant and not having to go to a specific point gives more freedom and variety. With it not being ranked and always getting some points after each battle, I can play any way I feel like and at a calmer n slower pace without worry, whereas in Ranked I feel I have to give it 100% all the time and play in specific optimal ways because doing otherwise isn't fair to rest of the team as winning is uber important here. In short, Regular = Play for fun, Ranked = Play to win, so naturally I like regular better!

I like both, but I think Regular suits me better.
