Lol ya I love some people's logic like replacing Wii U after 4 years is an automatic death sentence just like Genesis, DS, 360 releasing 3-4 years after their predecessors was such a horrible idea.

That is true too, but that was a bit rocky to say the least. Though that too was MS's own fault in poor decisions... Nintendo did make the NX known, but it would be good if they at least officially reveal what it is and give it some time to hype it up. But yeah, you make good points. It could release in holiday 2016, though it seems a bit risky, and I'd hate for Ninten to mess it up...

It was rocky because they proudly pissed in the mouths of gamers around the world, not at all because they announced and released the system within 6 months. The NX doesn't need more than 6 months to "hype it up." To be perfectly honest, no piece of tech nowadays needs even like a month. Apple announces and released new devices within days of each other. a whole year of waiting has a negative effect, not a positive one. The risky bit would be taking to long to release it, especially with the Wii U dying in front of everyone.

Really,I didn't see that with wii,which released  after one year and half,so don't be so sure that this has essentially a negative effect...

Then why they released wii on holidays 2006 after one year of it's revelation at E3 2005 under its codename(revolution)while it had been teased in early 2004?Going by your logic,gc was dead too in the same time frame!Never,nintendo's home console has released in the same year with its revelation under its codename(announcement in wii u case),but realese after one year(and half),all in late November(The only hardware that released in the same year of its announcemnt was ds and that in NA and Japan,not Europe!)

So we are not entitled to believe otherwise?We all  have to predict 2016 to satisfy you?I have rationalized pretty well,why I consider holidays 2017 to be the release date, I don't say it at random,I might be refuted but I'm allowed to have a different opinion which I based it in hard facts.

(The dolphin(codename of the gc) was teased in 1999(third year of n64),was revealed at E3 2000,presented at E3 2001 and released in november 2001,Revolution(codename of the wii) was teased in 2004(third year of gc) was announced at E3 2005,showed at E3 2006 and released in november 2006,Nx was teased this year (2015,third year of wii u)Announcement at E3 2016?Probably as ninty said that we will just get details for it in 2016,release november 2017?

Also,Project cafe (codename of the wii u)may not followed exactly this trend,obviously because wii was selling tons of units but partially did it since it was announced in E3 2011 and released in november 2012,i.e an announcement in E3 and a release one year and half after of it,So that't a proof too!The only difference is that it wasn't teased in its predecessor third year but in the 5th of it(It's apparent why,wii was a beast) and in the year of its announcement at E3...cts.) Do You defy this?

My aspect is that releasing in 2016,is hasty and one year more can a make difference and be more acceptable. Why don't push wii u as much  as possible and to the remaining potential?Leave it at a low level while you can get it up to a more decent tier?Viz,splatoon which resurges wii u in Japan is insignificant for Nintendo,which will abandon the ship,and be a recreant?    Why having quite many  very late 2015 and some 2016 game releases,when you will release new hardware in 2016,damaging those releases in terms of sales as you kill completely their platform?Since People would focus to the the new hardware...What about already released games and their further growth,.e.g Splatoon will have only one year of normal LT?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               You doom the legs of the games by releasing the successor in 2016,unless backwards compatability may prevent that!For me it's risky, 2016 is exactly the middle of ps4 and mainly xbone lt,they might hurt NX,release in  late 2017 is better because probably Microsoft will replace xboxone in that year to or in 2018  (of course it's not perfoming bad but not that great,especially compared to ps4 and it needed very early price slashes to do better) and force sony to do the same a little bit later,i.e a repeatition of 6th gen situation!The hyperboles after the e3 are somewhat understandable but also are shocking,Nintendo isn't able to do a direct to show a new game through the current year,right guys?

I don't express a wish,since I don't care so much if it releases in 2016 or 2017,Ι utter what makes me think that it will release holidays 2017!Sorry,it's unfeasible to press myself to trow something else from real expectation!Therefore,2016 will be just the year of the revelation of NX...

I truly recognize the possibility of 2016 as the release year,maybe it's higher than the 2017 possibilty,and if you win I'll cogratulate you(If you lose,though...)but don't offend me/others because I/they believe 2017 to be the release year!
