I cant believe the stupid reaction some people are having just because a bad presentation. Stop calling yourselves NIntendo Fans because you are not.

I made this thread only to say this: Nintendo, im your fan and i will always be with you, and that means i will be with you in the good times, but mostly in the bad ones.

Agreed, users who threw tantrums on the forums may be say "Zelda fans or Metroid Fans" but they are certainly not "Nintendo" fans. They are not general fans of most of Nintendo's games.

I think its good Nintendo fans realize the bad side....

Now if only they stopped buying Mario Spinoffs like Captain Toad......................................................
Nintendo would have no reason to keep making those........
And so more variety of games.......
And less of this terrible image Nintendo has...........

So youre standing by a Corporation who doesn't give a damn about you and they only see you as a dollar sign? On top of that a corporation that just ROYALLY screwed their customers? Somebody please help me understand this.

Every fanbase is like this. Does anyone remember the Xbox fanbase after the XBO reveal? What about the PlayStation fanbase after the PS3 reveal?

Nothing about this is new.

How is that they dont give a crap about me if they give me the best games every year?

I think its great, fans should not delude them selves and excuse the failure and short comings of a corporation.

Liking a franchise or dev house is quite different.

They don't.. they trade them for your money. That's all they want from you

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.  However, the issue with having this quoted mindset is that you are telling a company - an entity that exists solely to make a profit - that you will blindly support their quest to do so.  

If a company makes a product I like, I buy it.  If the product stops being something I enjoy, I stop buying it.  If someone comes along with a better product for the same value and the original product is still exactly as it was, I buy the new product.  People shouldn't blindly purchase or support companies because they have a track record.  People should vote with their wallets and their voices that they are not going to support things that lead to their own disappointment.  It is the only way to keep companies from taking advantage of their fan base.  Fan bases should be earned continuously, not on a one-time go and then blindly followed from that point forward.
