Clearly the E3 thing didn't do it justice. When I look at both of these videos, the Wii U one looks far superior to that of Assault, 64 3d, and the original. The only comparison in here that isn't made would be Star Fox Adventures (which, opinions aside from the majority of haters, had the best visuals of the series and arguably some of the best visuals on gamecube in general).

No criticism is free of criticism either. I have a friend at E3 who said the game looks fine, and I don't see what's so bad about these visuals. This is a flight game, the ground is usually ugly. Has anyone around here played an Ace Combat game on the Xbox 360 before? Ground is very low poly.

I played Star Fox Zero at E3 and enjoyed it quite a bit. Also, I'm sure that the visuals between now and launch will only get better...similar to Super Mario 3D World between E3 and launch.

I'll admit that I don't think that the visuals aren't the greatest.

With that said, I'll also admit that that should be the least of my concerns.

In the end, it's all about gameplay.

It looked fine windowed on my PC. 1080p on a 42" television, the trailer looked really poor. Star Fox Assault had more detail, but that was a finished title. I'm actually hoping they delay it until March/April and put some time into the visuals.
