Ok so, as you all know, i'm a Nintendo guy, and i already have 3DS and WU.

3DS by 11 December 2011, WU by 11 December 2012... Why 11 December? Is my birthday in short...

After that, is time for a new console... before all, i want buy both PS4 and XBO.

The question is... which buy before?

Well, this year i want buy another console, but seriusly, after the E3, i dunno.

RYNG TOLU STORY

THE START 

My first console was the PS2, and is probabily my favourite console (withouth Nintendo console... So is out of TOP 100 :3 ). 

But between PS3 and XB360, i bought a XB360, and i like it much more than the PS3, is just a question of taste...

Even if i never got a PS3, i played much exclusives form Sony last gen, thanks my friends and my uncle.

Example: Uncharted (all 1 to 3); The Last of us, Heavy Rain, Beyond 2 Souls, ratchet and clank "a spasso nel tempo" (italian game, i fucking dunno the globally name sorry); Killzone (2 and 3); Little Big Planet (only the second)... i for sure missed something, but that's probabily 80/90 %...

XBO AND PS4 STORY

Well, back at E3 2013, no contest: PS4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> XBO.

And we all know why...

Then, the thing are change. in 2014, i honestly think the XBO was a better console for the exclusives... just my opinion, but Forza 2 / Sunset Overdrive / Titanfall (yes. yes, is not a XBO exclusive, but is not on PS4, so, i cont it) was a very good line up.

But i really like Infamous Second Son... and now PS4 have BloodBorne...

anyway, before E3, i was going to buy a XBO this December.

After the E3... not so sure.

The new Gears of War was meh... i miss Marcus. :( and even if i love the first Gears, i already played the first game... for a lot of time...

Same for the retrocompatibility, i don't give a fuck because i already have a 360.

MY FAVOURITE GENRE

1) Platform

2) Shooter (and TPS > FPS)

3) Action

4) JRPG

5) Stealth

So, what do you think? What buy this chrismas between PS4 and XBO?

AND PLEASE, DON'T SAY "PS4!!!!!!" OR "XBO!!!!!!!!!!!"... Of course Sony fan say PS4 and XBOX fan say XBOX, but at least justified what you say...

xbox one if you like games more orientaed to a western audience and dont care much about 900p or 1080p

ps4 if you like more japanese games and need 1080p

PS4

Platformers you can play ratchet and clank + billion PC/PS4 indies.

Action games, Uncharted, God of war, Horizon, Infamous

FPS no specific reason but there's a million Multiplat FPS'

It's hard to go wrong because you can have no exclusives and live off of multiplatform games and get amazing experiences all year round. But then I'd still suggest PS4 cause higher resolution/framerate

PS4, faster loading, faster installs , faster downloads, faster uploads. Great console.

Xbox One has a better controller. I love the Xbox One game pad.

As far as games, both will have a lot of the same games with ps4 edging Xbox One with exclusive.

I'd go with PS4

If you are a diehard fps/tps fan get XB1. Otherwise, PS4 is the clear choice.

PC gaming is not a bad choice... but you could buy a PS4 and XB1 at their likely to be holiday prices for what you'll need to get a decent gaming PC (Be real pc guys... if he buys a PC this fall he'll want skylake + 8-16GB of DDR3 (or DDR4) + a $200-300 GPU + SSD + 80-100 MB, etc).

hmm, given your preferences and what you said, I would go for the PS4 and buy the X1 when it's cheap.

If you intend on getting both at some point, then get the Xbox One first... It'll probably have some nice holiday deals and thats the perfect time of the year to buy an Xbox console. There are some great games coming out for this year as well. Sony's lineup is stronger next year.

Like I said, if he intends to own both consoles... Xbox One would be my recommended choice this year. If not, then PS4 would probably be the way to go.
