For just this thread for consistency reasons, let's also assume the NX is a hybrid system, so the successor to both 3DS and Wii U. Would you still feel confident buying it at launch, or would you take the wait and see approach? For me, I never buy systems at launch regardless of other factors since I can always get a better deal and a bigger library later. I waited 2 years before picking up my Wii U for instance. For the NX though if it truely does release in 2016 then I don't think I'd pick it up until 2019. I still wont be done with the Wii U and 3DS just yet, and I'll be getting a PS4 which'll keep me completely satisfied for a long while. And yeah, I also want to see if they fully deliver since we would now know that Nintendo isn't afraid of dropping support before their usual 5 year life cycle. I'd still be satisfied with my Wii U, but because they could cut it even earlier with the NX is why I have to be skeptical. Well that's just me, how about you all!?

never. You will never get good software support on a nintendo console. Even wii was much worse then ps360.
almost no wii games in 2010,2011,2012. No wii u games in 2013, first half 2015. Nintendo cant support a console on theirselfs andi doubt they will get third partys back soon.

1. You have to tell me the price.

2. I need to know the launch games.

3. Does the hybrid system come with the handheld and console packaged together or seperate.

4. I need to know what games are coming after launch.

5. How's the third party situation.

Sorry I don't know how anyone can answer this question with so little details unless they just blindly go out and buy whatever Nintendo makes or refuse to buy anything Nintendo makes.

Only if there is a game I have to have. I will not buy another Nintendo system day one just to have it like I have been doing.
