For just this thread for consistency reasons, let's also assume the NX is a hybrid system, so the successor to both 3DS and Wii U. Would you still feel confident buying it at launch, or would you take the wait and see approach? For me, I never buy systems at launch regardless of other factors since I can always get a better deal and a bigger library later. I waited 2 years before picking up my Wii U for instance. For the NX though if it truely does release in 2016 then I don't think I'd pick it up until 2019. I still wont be done with the Wii U and 3DS just yet, and I'll be getting a PS4 which'll keep me completely satisfied for a long while. And yeah, I also want to see if they fully deliver since we would now know that Nintendo isn't afraid of dropping support before their usual 5 year life cycle. I'd still be satisfied with my Wii U, but because they could cut it even earlier with the NX is why I have to be skeptical. Well that's just me, how about you all!?
