Have you heard about Phillips CD-I, 3DO, or Bandai Playdia? Well those console is much worse IMO. Maybe you should change the title to "The Worst Mainstream Console".

Don't act like Sunshine and Windwaker had a warm reception. These titles are looked on favourably in retrospect.

Yeah.... no. Those consoles had absolutely nothing on them but crap, Wii U has quite a few good games, and those games have met my expectations for Nintendo quality. And I didn't expect anything from Sony when the PS1 launched, or from Microsoft when the original Xbox launched. All of those companies had a chance to make good, all of them failed to do so.
The 5200 and 7800 were made by Atari. Atari was king of the pre-NES gaming world, so Atari had the same expectations riding on it in the early 1980s that Nintendo supposedly does now.

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise

No. There are many consoles that are worse, really.
The Wii U still has fantastic games like Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World, Splatoon, The Wonderful 101, Mario Kart 8, Smash 4, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze etc. with promising games on the way such as Xenoblade X, Illusory Revelations #FE, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Super Mario Maker, Star Fox Zero, Yoshi's Woolly World, Devil's Third, Fast Racing Neo, etc. And Zelda is still coming, it was confirmed yesterday.
I think Wii U will pull even with the GameCube by generation's end.
No it doesn't have Resident Evil or Metroid or Animal Crossing ...
BUT it has Splatoon, Bayonetta 1/2, Xenoblade, and Mario Maker + NSMB (2D Mario) ... something the GameCube didn't have.
Mario 3D World, Smash U, DKC: TF, Mario Kart 8 are also equal or better than their equivalents on the GameCube.
If Zelda U is better than Wind Waker, IMO that tips the scales in favor of the Wii U.
