Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Calm down and play some games

hi every one

i can't believe the anger from us nintendo fans. Ok so it was not the best presentation ever but lets look at it again.

starfox: did not look good but I remember super mario 3d world also looked bad when its was shown at e3 before it was released that xmas. But ninty polished it up real good and turned out to be awesome. No online multiplayer, who cares we have mk, splatoon and smash for that. If shiggy is putting his name to a game and say they are focusing on making a very good single player game then i trust nity with my money.

super mario maker!! Say no more, whats in that hard cover book that comes with it.

animal crossing amiibo: i agree not what i would have wanted but we all know ac is a portable game so why not try something new with the franchise?

zelda: last year we had the amazing albw and next year we get zelda u. So just to keep us busy we get a coop zeld, who knows could be good or fail but im glad they took the risk.

yoshi woolly: looking like it could be my game of the year, and just look at that amiibo!

metroid: have not see enough to make a judgment yet, probably shown too early.

mario tennis: good old mario sports game filler

Chibi: man i need that amiibo, amd looks a good platfomer.

animal crossing house arrest: this looks like it is fixing some issues with the game that will help the next main game.

this is some of the games im looking forward to getting and I've probably missed some but im going back to playing splatoon

Around the Network

The thing is that none of this, maybe with the exception of Star Fox, made the E3 presentation feel like E3. There wasn't a synergy with the announcements. Most of the stuff could have been in a Direct. And there was too much filler and unnecessary trailers. Their biggest crime has to be not showing off Zelda, and failing to make up for it with something big and new we didn't know existed.

bet: lost

Yes Zelda u is a big disappointment and Nintendo probably missed that big E3 surprise announcement but let the games speak for themselves. if you are a fan of nintendo then you will probably buy and really enjoy most of these games. Nintys problem is thigs have been so good since last e3 that this one was probably set up to fail.

A Link Between Worlds was two years ago, and obviously it isn't like they only started working on this new thing since when Zelda U was delayed. A game isn't made in two days, reusing assets or not, this new game represents at least a year of lost time and resources, resources that could have been put to better use.
We're not getting this game because Zelda U is delayed, no, Zelda U is delayed because of this faux-Zelda game that didn't need to exist.

We've had a few of these threads already and we've been locking them (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=204606&page=1) recently as they are starting to clog up the forums. There's a number of threads to voice your opinions on the matter including the E3 threads or voting threads, so I'm going to lock this up.
