I agree, 30 fps is rarely ever a deal breaker. But its funny people can't even admit 60 fps feels considerably better.

Actually, I think a fluctuating frame rate is still better than being locked at 30 fps. It can be a little jarring but still more responsive. I learned this from playing Bioshock games on 360.

Of course, 60 fps is better, but 30 is acceptable for this kind of game. I enjoyed some titles with flutuating framerate. Second Son was 40-45 fps, Shadow Fall 30-40 and the games had a more fluid feeling. However, they had a very good vsync solution that worked well. Other games suffer with stuttering (Knack).

We can also assume that maybe the game would remain close to 30 most of the time, so risking stuttering to get 35 fps isn't worth it. They could also have decided to increase the visual bar, since some people complained about character models in the 2014 trailer.

Really no surprise here. Although I admit I am impressed they are targeting 60fps in multiplayer.

the game looks great at 30fps, 60 was the cherry on top. We just need an official release date now.

Yeah, I'm the same; Bayonetta 2 had a framerate that flucuated between 35-60fps, but I preferred it to a locked 30, which wouldn't have conveyed the same sense of speed.

lol really? wow thats crazy. a lot of people are saying this is expected, but uncharted 4 doesnt look so demanding to where it would have to take a hit on the frames. ive played the first two on ps3, and while the graphics were good, there were only small areas that were loaded at a time, so if this game is kind of like that, i would have expected it to hit 60 fps

... please be sarcasm.

Hopefully it's a steady 30.

It is not, the man has been doing all he can to put the PS4 down for some time already.

I bet he didn't even watched a trailer because if he did it's just hard to believe he does believe what he said.

It's simply the most demanding console game shown to date, by far.

Hell, I don't even like Sony or the PS4, but even I'll admit Uncharted 4 is the most impressive console game in existence right now, from a technical standpoint.
