I was going to post this, but yes, we all should take some time out immediately to show them our disgust. I did on twitter yesterday and will be visiting the other sites today.

I'm kind of annoyed with Nintendo, to be honest, and I haven't been a Nintendo fan since the PS1 spirited me away.

With Splatoon out, I really thought that Nintendo would seize this opportunity--if you want to call the passing of the Wii U an opportunity--to experiment with new types of gameplay and fresh IP. I mean, why not hold off with older IP until until NX? The Wii U should go out as a testing ground. IP like Splatoon might even improve the Wii U's legacy.

Instead, they trot out place-holder spin-offs of Zelda and Metroid, not to mention that budget-edition Star Fox. This kind of stuff is honestly a good example of what many people complain about with Nintendo, which is ironic, given that Splatoon has raised some eyebrows.

A golden opportunity was missed.

The Square of today isn't the same Square of back then, dude. Most of the people that worked on those games are no longer with the company. Both of Super Mario RPGs directors, Yoshihiko Maekawa and Chihiro Fujioka, work at AlphaDream which make the Mario and Luigi games .

Disappointed, not angry though. Also, as someone has brought up. We would probably get more of what we wanted if more gamers bought Nintendo consoles. Then again, Nintendo does sometimes give the gamers what they want. We don't deserve crap though, as one poster said.

What about the ones (like myself) who have supported Nintendo since day 1? Do we deserve crap? No...
