If it's readily available, yes but not if those particular amiibos compromise the game. That would send the wrong message.
No fucking way I'll support what they're doing. I just bought myself some amiibos of characters that I liked (Mario, Link, DK, Samus, Zelda and will eventually buy Yoshi), I never was really into this stuff, but I was happy cause it was generating $$$$$ without being too much intrusive. But now they took it too far and the last amiibo I'll buy will be the Yarn Yoshi one.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
I don't get all this amiibo hate. The figures are cool looking, and whatever gaming functionality they have is a nice extra to me.

Yes, on that I agree. I think this is a test for Nintendo. If this works, Pokemon is next. |
I was expecting a Haiku.
I was disappointed.
I'll still buy amiibo. I don't have any interest for that AC game or AC amiibo, but I still want more amiibo to my collection

It would only be wasted time and resources if they weren't making Nintendo money, they are so it's time/resources being effectively utilized. It's not like the people who design games for Nintendo are the same people who are creating these figurines.
