And iif your saying that past sony games sell that much better on the PS3, what does that mean for games like FF,GT5, MGS4, etc?

I haven't played any of them but from what I gathered the first two have the better character. The third one introduces a main character and doesn't do as good as the first two(gameplay wise). The fourth one has the new character but does a better job than 3(gameplay).
still on the fence on wether i should get this game or not.

Wow. I've NEVER heard anyone that the 3rd is anything but their favorite or 2nd favorite.
Ive always heard that DMC 2 is the worst in the series.
Props to the PS3 version beating the 360 version there. 360 version might have more lifetime sales though.

Don't play DMC2! The game was very disappointing. Play 1 and 3 or just buy that DMC PS2 pack which comes with all 3 games for $30.
DMC4 was okay. The game is very repetitive. Everything is recycled (bosses, levels, etc.). You fight the same bosses about 3 times. Half of the game is backtracking. Storyline is meh. It's interesting at first but then it loses it's magic. The most annoying thing about the game was that board game. Takes a lot of time and gets boring after a while. Gameplay is good. Dante has lots of weapons and different techniques, but the bad part is that you only use him for 6 missions. I recommend you rent it.

This is the fastest million seller on PS3 if I am right..
