Forums - Sony Discussion - Is it possible that The Last Guardian might be.............. boring?

i thought the same until i saw it again. I thought the game would be only okay for 2009 but it still holds up very well. It still has that ico vibe to it which matters more as their games were more like an experience.

The footage we have seen was also made easier. You cant control the bird directly, in fact it has artificial intellegence which adapts to you i have read. I think these silence moments where the boy falls can be game over screens dependent how the bird learns or is linking you.

TBH after boy was shouting 'Huuuugo?' for tenth time during 2 minutes video I was ready to break his neck. Not sure how it will be possible to tolerate it for 8-9 hours game. Also the animations were quite clunky, boy dropping into the environments... WTF were they doing all these years?

Ahh leaving sony? The animation look fine i havent seen any problems. The language is not japanese but an invented one

It certainly isn't for everyone. Imo, if u liked past ico games, you will like this one but if u didn't, then u wont

I am not sure about what the game actually is. It does look interesting, though, but I was surprised by the framerate and the visuals in general. For a PS3 game ported to PS4 it looks not that good but that isn't what makes these games stand out.

It looks better than most games these days to be honest which the majority are either crossgen or remastered. At least it has the physics and gpu assets.

To be honest i ahve my doubts it will be released, it very suspicious that the trailer not only has the same graphics as the last ones for the ps3 but also the stages and content are practically the same, not to mention that the game supposedly comes nnext year and sony didnt even have a demo despite the port has been in development for almost 10 years. With the rancid experiences of sony´s lies like 1080p 60fps in killzone or the promised second son graphics in E3 only to ahve a downgraded reatil version, is possible sony is just showing off last guardian for hype and the game may be delayed again and cancelled at the end

Any game can be boring, if it's not your cup of tea. Fun is pretty subjective category.

It's very much in development and will be released in 2016.

It's possible...we've seen very little of it, but, what I've seen thus far has me intrigued at the very least.

It seemed boring to me too but we haven't seen much of this game yet.

It looked boring. Also did anyone else hear the dog thing say "roar" when it roared?
