Curl-6 used the word "new" Uncharted 4, Halo, and Tomb Raider are not new, with the latter pertaining to SE, not to Microsoft directly.  Horizon, it is too early to call it a blockbuster, GoW, now that I have to give it to you, but the others do not fit with what was said.

Ok but how can you give me Gears when its the 4th in the series?

Um what?  I'm telling you that you are right about GoW 4 being a blockbuster title from Microsoft.  That out of that list, that was the only blockbuster, and unless I'm missing anything else, the only new blockbuster from any of the Big 3.

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

Nah let us continue our tantrum a bit more. I want Nintendo to know the prevalent displeasure we have for them. Perhaps this way they'll learn a thing or two.

The only thing that was shocking to me ( in a good way ) was Bowser and DK in SKYLANDERS!!!! I mean did anyone predicted that???????? That surprised me, and how Bowser is KICKING ASS in there! I might just buy the game for him!

And I think that awesome NWC made up for this digital event. I kept replaying the final stage of the comp. The crowd reaction was amazing to hear =D

Yeah, how dare we not be satisfied with a handful of insulting C-grade spinoffs, two of which drag the names of beloved franchises through the mud, and the total absence of virtually every game NIntendo fans have been begging for since this gen began?

How dare we expect at least one new blockbuster game at the biggest gaming expo of the year.

How could we be so childish as to voice anger that the console we dropped hundreds of dollars on is being cut loose to survive on dregs in its third year.

Hun, in the public's eye, Metroid's name was already drag through the mud with Other M, they are just burying it deeper, and also remember that the developers of this are Next Level Games, so the ones throwing Metroid deeper into the mud is NLG, not Nintendo themselves.  And AC, I agree with that one with you, but you cannot judge a game on first impressions... or do I have to bring up the Super Mario 3D World syndrome?

Neither Sony or Microsoft deliver a big blockbuster, I don't see why Nintendo not showing one was a problem, and not bring FFVII remake into the play, because that belongs to SE, not Sony, so Nintendo just did the same as the other two.

And who said that was going to happen?  Nintendo clearly stated what they were going to show, last year was different, because the schedule was scarce, and this time it isn't, plus we all knwo that Nintendo is guilty of showing their bigger games either in a December or January direct, so wait before you pass judgement.  Because at the moment there is no evidence of what you say, because Nintendo clearly stated what they were going to talk about.

Also do I have to remember to all that Iwata said that are various games to still be unveil for Wii U, for this year, including the mysterious Tantalus port?  And those 3rd party partnerships, of which we only saw two, Activision's and NLG's?

Next level games is second party not third. So Nintendo had just as much part in deforming metroid as NLG. Plus just because Other M was bad does not mean they should continue to drag down Metroid's greatness.

Sony did deliver horizon, what are you talking about? Microsoft is also bringing Recore. Nintendo is not deliviering anything remotely big (mario maker is the closest it gets). And why not count FFVII remake? Sure it belongs to SE, but sony must have put an effort (unlike Nintendo) to actually make it available to fans.

You're telling me Nintendo actively chose to show nothing big at the biggest gaming conference? Even if they save their biggest games for December, they should have shown something big at e3.

And what 3rd party are you talking about? There's the tantalus port, skylanders, disney infinity, project treasure, and that's pretty much it. Let's not pretend like they are making a huge comeback with third party games seeing as how missing call of duty overshadows what little 3rd party they have.

Just so I am clear where I stand (not against ya or anything). I agree with that statement, but some users including yourself, are being a tad dramatic. I mean I agree with you that conference was bad, but the level of anger is just really high.

I guess I don't know the struggles of one console only user.

Others have already taken up the point about Sony/MS blockbusters, so I'll leave them to it.

Given Wii U's sales I think it's more likely that we didn't see more games because there aren't any. I'll bet they're cutting their losses and shifting to NX, leaving us U owners to starve, much like they did with the Gamecube in 2006, and the Wii in 2011-2012.

How do we know the Digital Event didn't already cover all the new games and partnerships Iwata mentioned. Has he gone on record since the Event and said there's more to come?

Well, I have been up for 26 hours, and I have some impulse control issues stemming from my autism, so you could be right. I am pretty pissed off at the moment, and not just cos of E3; 4 years of disappointment have come to a head for me. I spent $300 on a Wii U and Nintendo have not kept up their end of the bargain to properly support it.

Just to offer a different perspective, what about the people that are already on the fence, disappointed with the Wii U's overall lineup? If someone isn't satisfied with their Wii U, then isn't given any more reasons to have bought one during the biggest event of the year, it's not necessarily childish that this might have been the final straw that made them truly regret their decision to buy it. I personally know multiple people like this. They're not just throwing a tantrum; they've been waiting for Nintendo to bring games that justify the system for years, and now it just seems hopeless. It just depends on who you are and what games you like.
