Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Stop with the childishness. Seriously

Is OP suggesting that people have no right to be disappointed or concerned after E3? I think that's a bit unfair. Let people be concerned or disappointed, we can't control or dictate what others feel, and feeling disappointed is certainly not childish; it is 100% natural in many settings and situations.

As for me, like I thought from the beginning; E3 overall was meh, I'm not a huge fan of most AAA titles and biggest publishes are mostly grinding the same old gears (pun intended) as before (Nintendo included).
There just hasn't been all that much to be excited about imo.

Wow, Nintendo can give it's fans a shitty deal and if they complain they are childish. My 45 year old uncle is CHILDISH because he decided to give up on Nintendo after not being able to deliver what they promised before launch of the Wii U and his disappointment with the Wii.

Reminds me of a book I read a few years ago, about people being childish if they complained about a certain German government.

Now, don't get all heated because I compare gaming with an evil regime, all things are relative.

If someone is pissed off they have the god-given right to complain however the hell they want. Why should I buy a console that even the manufacturer seem incapable to support, let alone third-parties? Sound's like a mugs game.

What I HATE is others trying to take away that right by calling them names, like CHILDISH and IMMATURE when in truth they are probably the immature ones who cannot break away from their beloved company's breast feeding.

Not here to insult anyone so no offense.

E3 is the straw that broke the camels back. People are tired of game droughts and more Mario spin offs and now zelda spin offs. They want variety and new IPs.

This; people are misinterpreting the outrage as just a kneejerk reaction to this particular E3 Direct alone, when in fact it's the culimination of 4 years of mistreatment. People have finally had enough.

It's not childish. It's a mature way of expressing disdain with the idiotic decisions of a company. When you become an adult you will understand it, people vote with their wallets in the real world.

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

What does focusing the direct on 2015 and early 2016 has to do with the atrocity that was the Metroid game? the reused multiplayer Zelda game nobody asked for? transforming AC into a lame MP copy? the terrible Star Fox graphics?

I think you've misjudged whats going on.

People are just really not interested in Nintendo's offering. Unlike on other systems Nintendo is almost the sole supplier of software on the Wii U and people do not have faith in the future which they've shown at E3.

I don't think its much deeper then that. If Starfox blew people away or Metroid 3DS looked like a must have, the complaints wouldn't be happening. Let people vent, I would if I there were only 1 or 3 games over the next 12months that interested me

Agreed. People completely abandoning Nintendo over this is just stupid

Yeah, too much drama whenever something a little negative happens. I'm sure we'll hear more about zelda later this year. 2016 should also have metroid and maybe a real animal crossing and whatever else nintendo plans.

After seeing the line up announced for PS4, I cringed at Nintendos offerings. They were pitiful. I have invested thousands of pounds on Nintendo over the years, and have loved it and always been loyal to the company. But they had this lame ass presentation with poor looking games that not only looked low quality but also which are of little to no interest to more than a handful of people. I'm not done with Nintendo, I'm just disappointed. Still, at least after being in Egypt for six months I have lots to catch up on. I really hope they return to mind-blowing awesomeness in their games very soon.

Alrighty, the reaction threads are starting to clog up the forums, and frankly we've given folks enough time to air their grievances despite the plethora of threads to do so already (voting threads, e3 threads, etc.)

Locking.
