If you like Japanese games, then Sony

And if you like western games, also Sony.

Get an Xbone. It's the underdog and as an owner of a console where they need to go beyond just to get fan base, you won't lose. Usually the ones on top remain stagnant and don't need to put out as much effort to appeal to consumers. It pretty much lives on hype. Then you have M$, who has money to buy things and software knowhow to make a good OS and is able to emulate a freaking 360 on an Xbone which have different architectures, say what? These M$ bitches, don't underestimate them. I used to be mad at them for not making a console that was more powerful than the PS4, but damn, they know how to make do with what they have. This gen is about entertainment, not just games. That is what M$ has taught me. Cuz once your game is over, that console is still working for you.

OK I'm as disappointed as anyone else. But people are acting like this direct erased all their other games from existence. The games they failed to show and focus on - which was stupid - still exist and are still coming. Their presentation was bad, this is true. But taking it in a vacuum when we are all better informed than that? Come on, don't get swept up in the moment.

The NX is going to be Nintendo's biggest break since the SNES. No more droughts, no more having to buy a game on more than one system. It's going to have the biggest library of Nintendo games ever made on one platform.

In other words, whoever is jumping the gun now is like a person in the middle of a highway who doesn't see the truck that is about to hit him.

Let's also not get caught up in THAT either.  Always have caution, either in optimism or pessimism.

So, I'm looking for a new base. What do you guys recommend? Sony or Microsoft?

Now, seriously. Words cannot express how disappointed I am. I am literally depressed. I don't know how Nintendo thought this could have been a good Direct, their decisions are beyond my ken.

Somebody pinch me, I must be having a nightmare.

Calm way the F* down.

There seems to be a fair amount of displeasure with Nintendo's E3 presentation, across multiple threads. I may have to check it out to see what all the fuss is about.

Kind of what I did but PS2 and me had so many problems I jumped ship to xbox and have always owned nintendo.

What? The PS2 of all console that ever existed caused you to jump to Xbox????? I can see the PS3 with its over priced launch and XB360 getting better multiplat versions for the 1st few years (until devs got thier arms around how to develop for CELL).

BUT PS2?

PS2 had a massive failure rate, As i went through many and always after the first 6 months. It got hushed up and they released the slim, by then I said fug them.

Also had issues with many of there other products. Their customer service is a smoking pile of sh-t or used to be. However with XBox 360, RROD, handled right away, had a 360 traded out right away.  So that's my reason, I used to own everything Sony however when everything they make keeps breaking, you eventually have enough.

Not sure why you even asked this site, I could have told you everyone was going to tell you Sony, However the games are not there as of now. AAA is on the Xbox
