Welcome! ... As much as I loved the GC, I was getting tired of them in that gen, and I didn't even bother with the Wii as a result. But a gen without their games wasn't easy, so the Wii U became of interest, but, they're disappointing me all over again. I'll still buy their consoles, I just won't make it my main platform - that's where Sony comes in.

Pretty strong statement, but I can't say I blame you, either. E3 was disappointing for many of us. I'm disappointed that they don't listen to us, but not disappointed that I bought the Wii U overall. Hopefully, I'll feel the same way about the NX launch lineup.

I'd say wait and see how you feel a year from now or whenever NX launches. But I certainly understand you saying enough is enough at this point. This is a bitter pill to swallow for many of us.

I agree with the OP.

I've tried really hard to enjoy my Wii U but it seem I can only ever get a small handful of games from them to enjoy (looks like i'll have less than 10 games by the end of Wii U's lifespan). If they continue as they are now I feel its almost not worth buying their systems anymore.

I'll just have to wait as see, but until then Nintendo has left me on a sour note not wanting more.

Here's my issue with this:

While the future of the Wii U seems bleak at best, if you are a true Nintendo fan (meaning you love the games), I find it hard to believe you would be able to pass up a great Metroid or Zelda offering next gen. I understand that it sucks now, particularly if you're like me and own only a Wii U this gen, but the fact is that if next gen they make some awesome Zelda game, Metroid game, or 3D adventure Mario game, there's no way I could not buy the new system and play those games. Yeah, I'm beyond disappointed that it looks like the Wii U won't have an exclusive Zelda, a Metroid, or a true 3D adventure Mario game in the vein of Galaxy or Sunshine, but it doesn't mean I won't dive back in next gen if Nintendo does make those games. But no doubt, this gen has sucked the most for Nintendo fans.

I empathize with you, but I do hold out hope that Nintendo will get their shit together and realize what they need to do to recover.

The problem is that many of us who bought a Wii U feel like total chumps. I know I do. Some of us aren't as determined to convince ourselves we are thrilled with Nintendo as others.

The one that is going to win seems to be micro, sony didnt do that far better than nintnedo, alst guardian looks like a ps3 game and despite saying thta will be launched next year they didnt even have a gameplay demo eventhough is a game that has been almost 10 years in development and clearly only ported from ps3 to ps4(not to mentiion that the video looks the same as the last ones with the same  stages). With the rancid experiences of sony lies like the 1080p 60fps of killzone or the lies about second son having the E3 graphics they showed us and clearly having a downgrade for the retail version, i do not trust last guardian presentation(not to mention that is the same video with the same escenarios and same graphics), sony could be doing this just for hype and cancell the game later after another delay

Final fanatsy 7 was just a video, we didnt even see a glinpse of ingame gameplay and is not even exclusive, clearly says at the end of the trailer "play it first on ps4" which means that first comes on ps4 and then later on other pkatforms, shemue 3 isnt exclusive either and has open doors for xbox one and even wii u. And instead of giving us retrocompatibility like xbox one, sony showed us more remasters

It wasn't one specific thing; I've actually been wavering for a long time now, and this woeful E3 showing, which above all demonstrated an utter lack of respect for their fans, was just the final straw. I'm tired. Tired of the game draughts, the delays, the same safe, predictable games over and over and over again.
