No curl, not you too :(

Sorry mate. It's been four years and I'm tired. :(

Yeah, it's been hard. It's got me confused as well. I won't be upset, but we'll miss you.. :(

I'll still be around, I'm going to stick with Wii U until the end, so there's still time to ride the Xenoblade hype train together. :)

: ) Yay, that's good to hear. Ride this out to the end.

Well, good for U, I guess

You'll come back once you see how cool the first NX exclusive Zelda will (most surely) look

Nintendo has to know how create hype. Not showing Zelda hurts the hype for the game. Not showing anything new hurts the hype for the WiiU. I understand what they're trying to do (showing upcoming games for this year only and other stuff), but is not the correct thing. For exemple, no one will play Final Fantasy 7 Remake until 2058, but just a teaser trailer is enough to make everyone happy and hyped. They killed the hype for Wii U not showing a teaser for Zelda or a proper Metroid or anything like that.

With the exception of the Wii U, it's not like Nintendo hasn't had dwindling console sales since the NES.  Literally every generation since Nintendo made the NES has sold less and less and less than it's predecessor, then the Wii happened*. The Wii was the exception, not the rule. Wii U sales reflect a company that has become more and more and more out of touch with the video game market as time went out. If anything they got incredibly lucky with the Wii, and made a whole bunch of decisions that allowed a video game console to become a fad.

*Not counting the Virtual Boy because that makes Nintendo look even worse.

Sure, I'll get a Wii U. One day. Probably used, off some kid's parents for 1/10th what they paid for it and the 8 or so games with it that are worth playing.

but the handheld for nintendo has been doing relatively good..I think most of the announcement s for new games have been for the 3ds as opposed to Wii U.  I think that moving forward nintendo will have to combine to two in some way cause they obviously cant support two different consoles.

I feel like you will end up changing your mind when some games you want get showed eventually.

Of the three companies, Nintendo was most on target with showing games that you can play THIS YEAR, or early next year. I would prefer to be told directly what I'm supposed to expect, not be promised the world years in advance only to be disappointed. People are saying "Sony had the best E3 EVER!" but what the heck is actually exclusive? What am I getting from them that I can't get on PC or Wii U? TLG, Uncharted 4, and Dreams are all that looked good to me. 3 titles. For Wii U, I have 15 exclusives already and this fall, we have Star Fox and Super Mario Maker to look forward to, at the very least. Why is that soooo awful? Seriously?

Yes, it's clear they're holding big guns back for NX. Why is THAT a bad thing? Obviously general perception of the Wii U is bad, and having a fresh start would allow them to get better and bigger things out. For all the people saying "I'm done with Nintendo forever", what the heck does PS4 or Xbone offer? I'm so tired of all the samey-samey stuff. Literally, whether you have one or the other or a PC, the stuff you'd miss out on from not having the other is minimal. It's a childish mindset to have and completely ignorant. The Wii U took a year of system updates to really shine, but it's great now as a console. Chill.

From another author in this forum. PS4 Exclusives announced at E3 2015:

Full exclusives: (only on Playstation)

Uncharted 4
Horizon
Dreams
The Last Guardian
Ratchet and Clank
Until Dawn
Tearaway Unfolded
World of Final Fantasy
Nier 2
Rigs
Star Ocean 5
Persona 5

Console exclusives: (PS4+PC)

Street Fighter V
Shenmue III
No Man's Sky
Tales of Zestiria
Eve: Valkyrie

Timed Exclusives: (PS4, possibly coming to other platforms in the future)

Final Fantasy VII Remake
Firewatch

And while it's nice that you have 15 exclusives already for your Wii U, there have been over 40 full exclusives (not counting console exclusives) released or are pending release on the PS4. That's about the same number full exclusives as is available on the Wii U, and the PS4 has been out for an entire year left. If you count console exclusives the PS4 absolutely blows it out of the water in sheer numbers.

Also, ironic that you accuse the PS4/X1 of the samey-samey stuff when Nintendo has put out what? Two? Three notable new franchises in the past decade. You've more than likely playing newer versions of more or less the exact same handful of games for over 10-15 years now. Before you even start.  Please, spare me the argument of how every Mario, Mario Kart and Zelda game is just *so* different from each other. They're really not, the same way that Metal Gear Solid games are not so different from each other. That's not a bad thing. You can't possibly argue that the games I played my PS1 are pretty much the same as the games I play on my PS4, but try comparing the N64 and Wii U. You'll see a lot of common titles.

Well yes, because Nintendo has pretty much abandoned support of consoles in favor of handhelds, while Sony has pretty much abandoned support of handhelds in favor of consoles. Nintendo has pretty much has zero competition in the handheld market. Why not put all your resources into the console you can't possibly not sell?

People need to calm down, its just a bad (very bad) Nintendo E3.

I stopped by Nintendo systems after the Gamecube, I haven't regretted it, only really miss Zelda and maybe Metroid, to be honest.

And then they'll have another good E3 and all will be well again, lol.
