It's taken a lot to overcome my deeply rooted attachment to them, but the last four years have gradually eroded my tolerance for their bullshit.

I've been on the brink for the past few months, and now I can say with certainty that while I'll ride out the Wii U and squeeze as much out of it as I can, I will not be buying NX, or any future platform of theirs.

I can respect that. I honestly only bought a Wii U because the last Nintendo console I owned was the Gamecube and I missed the Nintendo games.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Zelda U could be my last game that I buy from them for a LONG time. Oh well everything fades with time...other than Disney of course they only grow stronger.

Because they didn't show games for the Wii U? At this E3? The one where they didn't talk about the NX at all so you know absolutely nothing about it? Seems like a reasonable reaction.

Yeah, I may do the same. I love their games, but they're still oblivious about what they fans want, and they even troll us with some awful reveals about loved franchises. Jesus, I've never feel so bad being a Ninty fan, it's like they don't care about us. 

It depends for me. How will we know whether or not the NX will be a success? It could have the exact same problems as the Wii U, with another replacement only years after the previous one.

I will probably not be buying their next gen console at launch if they make Zelda U not exclusive to wiiU otherwise, I might be buying it (not 100% sure anymore though). I expect certain key games exclusive to certain consoles/handhelds and if they aren't, then my investment is not worth it. And I certainly feel you at this point and fully respect your decision

Their hatred of online matchmaking is also bizarre and backwards. I cannot believe they are stuck in 2002 about this stuff. It's unreal.

Project NX better blow my socks off like the Wii did. I'll give them one more chance.
