This is the worst sony conference ever for me, simply because I have very little interest in any of the big suprise games . Why is a remake of an old game a big deal? I'm so lost. And they didn't even announce that other game. They announced a kickstarter campaign. That has to be the most shameful thing I've ever seen. If the game is such a big deal why didn't sony just fund it? Only the last guardian has me intrigued, but I never played the spiritual predecessors so I'm not really sure if it would even be my cup of tea.

If you have to ask why a Final Fantasy 7 Remake is important, then I think you're on the wrong website.
And I'm sure Sony has made a hefty donation to the Shenmue 3 project. Which, by the way, it's over halfway to its goal in under three hours.

After announcing the shenmue kickstarter I thought the sony exec was going to pull out a check for the full amount and hand it over like a boss. What's a couple million to Sony? The fact that they didn't do that is honestly kind of embarassing. How can you announce a game that hasn't even been funded yet? Thats just silly and the worst type of fan service (pandering).
I didn't like the fact that sony only seemed interested in appealing to one subset of gamers. Only one of those big games is even exclusive. MS had more exclusives and announced more game changing initiatives. All sony did was pander to japanophiles.
