Is this an actual question?

Sony's has to be the most insane press conference in the history of E3.

No one is going to remember MS's press conference a week from now.

The amount of hype I am seeing by sony fans is ridiculous... how on earth can this level of regard be earned from showing footage of a game that was revealed ages ago and still hasn't been released, a game that is multiplat, and that leaves just Shenmue 3.

The Microsoft conference literally gave gamers everything they've wanted. Classic franchises, new IP, backwards compatibility, crazy pro controller, etc.

I saw literally nothing megaton about Sony's conference this time. Horizon was a very cool looking game, and Shenmue 3 may qualify, but it is a kickstarter tha I almost guarantee will go to Xbox as well in the likely event that it far exceeds its target.

LMAO!  Seriously?  Let's see...

Classic Franchises - FF7, Shenmue 3, Uncharted 4, Street Fighter 5

New IP - Horizon, TLG, Dreams

BC - Not even fully supported, yet.  Playing last gen games is a nice feature, but isn't changing anything.

Crazy Pro Controller - Sorry, but not many are going to be excited by a $150 controller.

MS's conference had a few nice, little surprises, but no true megatons.  Most of it was also expected.  Halo, Gears, and Forza.  And guess what, it'll be those same franchises next E3, too.

As much as i actually wanted Microsoft to win and how good the Microsoft conference was, Sony had them beat again. Yes, sony didn't show us as much or as many exclusives. But, what they did show had more wow factor, at least in my opinion. The Last Guardian, Horizon, Uncharted gameplay, and hell even PlayStation vue was pretty awesome. For Microsoft's Recore, BC, and Gears had me pretty excited (gears had me insanely pumped!) The one thing i don't like is the attitude that Sony can do no wrong because, they can and they do.

Not even close. Sony.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I am a PC gamer first but Microsoft won for me because I will actually use and play some of the shit they announced.

1. I will be able to stream my massive Xbox 360 digital and my large library of Xbox One digital games to my multiple windows 10 media PCs and put Xbox One out of sight and Xbox 360 in the basement
2. Halo 5 looks sick and will definitely play that
3. Rare Collection for 29 bucks is also day 1 purchase

Gears looks ok but Im meh about that series. Wish they showed more about Quantum Break.

Other than Uncharted, Sony had absolutely nothing for me
1. SF5 and Shenmue 3 are badass, but I would get those on the PC anyways. Will back Shenmue 3 for sure.
2. Hate JRPGs and have never player a FF game after 3 on the SNES
3. Last Guardian gameplay looked so lame and Horizon looked too cinematic for my taste

MS.
Two words... Backwards Compatibility.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

Microsoft was so much better because they actually showed exclusives. Even without Crackdown, Scalebound and Quantum Break. I watched on Youtube and Geoff's panel all gave Sony a B while Microsoft got a mix of A and B.

But Sony had more exclusives

Full exclusives:

Uncharted 4
Horizon
Dreams
The Last Guardian
Ratchet and Clank
Until Dawn
Tearaway Unfolded
World of Final Fantasy
Rigs
Star Ocean 5
Persona 5

Console exclusives:
Street Fighter V
Shenmue III
No Man's Sky

Timed Exclusives:
Final Fantasy VII Remake
Firewatch

All those games were not shown. If they where shown then it would have been impressive.

Not to bash MS's conference, it was good enough, but they didn't show all that many exclusives either...

They showed Halo, but we already knew about that, so that is the equivalent of Uncharted in the Sony conf. Then they showed Recore, a acGI trailer/cutscene with no gameplay, which I guess can be seen as the equivalent of Horizon, although we got actual gameplay with Horizon. Then of course they showed Gears 4 gameplay, while we got TLG gameplay. Ms also showed Rare's IP, the pirate thingy, while Sony had MM's new IP.

But eh, I guess Sony didn't show any exclusives, and I was just dreaming the entire thing.

MS big announcement is last gen games.. meanwhile sony brought a portfolio of next gen exclusives, and did something that seems foreign to MS. Showing gameplay

That's what I do not get from (mostly) MS fans trying so hard to get it out there that MS "won."  Their biggest announcement, according to them, was BC.  Just...really?  PS3 had BC.  Was that a megaton?  Nope.  Didn't even help it.  Same goes for Wii U.  Now, all of a sudden MS is adding it (in steps) and it's supposed to be this big game changer?  Sorry, but it's not.  It won't even really help sales, especially outside the US/UK.  Again, the biggest game reveals from MS were either CG or games we already knew about for a year or more.  Just no comparison.
