It was like seeing a unicorn shitting out a rainbow that lead to, instead of a pot of gold, a magic lamp that popped out a genie that gave me 3 wishes. I can't believe this day, the theater I was at went absolutely nuts!!!!

Watching it on theater must have been a lifetime experience, happy for you buddy XD

It absolutely was.  They led with TLG and from then on everyone was just deathly silent before each announcement and we were rarely disappointed (until Disney and CoD but then we just tried to process the other stuff lol)

It was a great conference, easily on par if not slightly better than Microsofts. Bethesda still takes the cake though, and we still have Nintendo and Square Enix left.

Great time to be a gamer.

P.S. Ryu on super smash bros, I still can't get over that=D

Wait...what RPG?  I've never been that into the genre lol

Hehehe, so I have one more chance to talk about it XD

The Legend of Dragoon

Tops any PS1 Final Fantasy IMO (actually any game ever, lol).

Pretty big JRPG, triple A stuff, Sony went all out into it, there's people who even think it was a Square game, lol.

Ya, Ledend of Dragoon was epic. At the time it was by FAR Sony most ambitious 1st party attempt.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Lol when that Disney shit came on the room lit up with cell phones of people check in their shit. What made it funny was that guy trying to convince everyone it was the biggest e3 announcement

After he finished I was expecting Layden to come out and go "sorry about that...anywho here's the Star Wars game you actually WANT to play"

I don't get the hype, I thought it was a dull E3 conference

I am with you.

Yeah, its probably a personal thing with me too. But! I do love seeing the sony fans here feel very happy after the conference, which every company should have done with their audience.

Pocky Lover Boy!

And to think everybody was down on Sony just a few days back.
To think that even a mention of Shenmue 3 was brushed off as trolling: http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/either-suzuki-is-trolling-us-or-shenmue-3/0151108

To think people were pissed 6 months ago for true trolling by Square Enix with FFVII PC port.

And then you get three brand new exclusive IPs in the first 30 minutes, and so many other great new games coming.
Awesome conference, a complete obliteration of all competition.

Wow, wow, wait. FFVII remake, Shenmue III and The Last Guardian in the same conference? Jesus christ. Well played Sony. It must be one of the best E3 conferences, ever. What about Vita, though? Is it definitely abandoned?

Nothing will ever come close to Jack Tretton 2013 or Kevin Butler 2010. They could've revealed Half Life 3 and those two speeches still would've eked tonight out. If more than a few of those games were launching this year then I might agree, but I can legitimately STILL well up when I hear the gamers speech and smile when I hear the cheering over used games being a thing.

Without E3 2013 we might never even get most of these moments.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
