i think they can easily take it now, even 80% is possible
even 90% might be possible if SONY break the bank and go nuts on Microsoft like Microsoft spent last generation.

No. Get your expectations in check. This was/is a really really good E3 showing, but the PS4 will not ever top the PS2.
Math doesn't work like that so no... guaranteed not 90%.

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
Assuming The Wiiu and Xbone final total is 22.2 ( what vgchartz has right now) PS4 needs to sell:
177.3 million more units to have 90%
66.5 million more units to have 80%.
29.3 million more units to have 70%.
However if we put the total of Wiiu and Xbone 45( which is extremely conservative) the Ps4 would need to sell
382.3 million more units to have 90%
157.3 million more units to have 80%
82.3 million more units to have 70%.
44.8 million more units to have 60%.
So in conclusion, 70% is really out the question

The way WiiU is going and NX on its heels and XBONE is going, they can easily do it.
No. It was a great conference, but just that. It was what PS4 needed to stop Xbox One advance and keep its 50% share, but thats it.
As flawless as that press conference was, that's not gonna happen just like that...
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
If Wii U and Xbox One stopped selling today, PS4 would still need to sell over 200m units to get a 90% market share.
I guess 70% is within the realm of possibility, if Wii U sees a successor soon-ish.
