Sorry, I won't post here any more. It seems like people on this site are only interested in who can claim a 3,000 unit "victory" over the other console in February, a totally unimportant retail month. Guess you guys don't need the web traffic.

I'm just curious how did you think people would respond to your post?

lol...I didn't even notice that he posted that as his last line.  Guess I lost interest in reading.

Ban him.  He's not interested in a discussion...just a few blanket insults aimed at one group in particular.  I'm pretty sure that's in violation of the forum rules.

God! You people are really hostile! I don't know what was so insulting in lionkitten's
writings, but I see you bite the bait for good. I guess he just pointed out a fact that impressed him. I'm from Southern Europe, Greece, and I really don't know how Americans think, but i could make the opposite notification for the 360's fanboys here as well. Suddenly, the disliked Americans know how to play games and their tastes are all that matter. On the other hand, Japanese and European gamers, suddenly lost their taste and they turned to casual zombies.
You see, same happens here. And its natural and expectable. So, don't act as he insulted your family, as I wouldn't if he said that Xbox fans adore American taste and care about their preferances. Logical...

*whispers to epinefridis*  - I agree too but I was afraid they'd yell at me and call me a fat kid like they did the other guy.  Don't tell.....shhhhhh.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

My point is...I don't know what he's trying to say.  It's almost incomprehensible....I was just hoping for some clarification.  If it's just to bash Americans....I think that's silly.  Of course, he's not coming back...so why bother worrying.

but on topic this is hat got him trouble " Americans, and young American males in particular, generally care nothing about what the world beyond their four walls, let alone the rest of the world.  They might SAY they care, but they don't.  They don't even know where Poland or Belgium are on a map."

He should have generalized. Instead of saying "Americans don't pay attention to anything outside their country" he should have said "people focus mainly on their country and hardly focus on whats going on WW" I think people would have not been so mean to him then but still would have said no to his idea.

Well that's just it, Super. It didn't seem to me like he was just pointlessly bashing Americans or flaming like Nico with a lighter and a gas can.  Maybe it's just cuz I agree with what he was sayin mostly, but I didn't read it as hostile toward Americans.  I mean we ain't the shiniest knives on the tree as a whole.   I mean, the fact that 360's up 7 million in America's just ignored by otherwise "U!S!A!" kids is kinda true.  But whatev.  He go bye bye.  I just think there might be better ways to discuss something than just like screaming at the guy.

and he's a teacher stating these nonfacts.
