Rumors say 2017.

Hey, it's that thing that Square should have logically done years ago! I don't think any of that was gameplay so we'll have to see what it looks like when more info is available, but I'm still glad they're remaking it. It was so crap last year when they showed off the original FF7 for PS4. This at least makes up for that.

I want to be excited, but all I can think is "Oh boy, something else to make Nomura delay Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3." I know that a remake should be relatively easy to make, but considering how a relatively simple HD makeover for Final Fantasy X was announced more than two years before its release, I think we may have a new Versus XIII on our hands... even before the old one is released.

Love and tolerate.

I just realized that Square Enix announced the remastering of the original to troll us.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Me!

pretty indifferent.
it's a good game but it's not the second coming of christ like everyone makes it out to be. I would preferred a FFVI or IX remake but I can always dream. good news for the fans though

I'm pretty sure it's gonna release on both PC and XBox One. If it wasn't gonna release on XBox One they would have made sure to mention console exclusive somehow.

I must say I'm dissapointed with the reaction.

Finally a FF7 remake and there isn't 1000 threads. The crowds reaction during the conference wasn't really noticably different than a lot of the other things shown

Did the e3 conferences get too big or what? I mena thinking of some epic reactions, the first comes to mind is Twilight Princess. you watch that and its like people are flipping balls, crying, jumping, ect. This announcement was about the same as for any decent game shown .

Hallowed feces.
