Forums - Sony Discussion - I am glad Sony's fall is "sparse". UPDATED OP.

Why can't Sony fill both the January-August period and the holiday period? Just saying, that we shouldn't be protecting a console when it's clearly not at its best ( First party game wise ).

September:

1st - Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
1st - Mad Max
22nd - FIFA 16
29th - NBA 2K16

October:

13th - Rainbow Six: Siege
23rd - Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
27th - WWE 2K16

November:

6th - Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
10th - Fallout 4
17th - Star Wars: Battlefront

And many more

I would much rather have Sony filling the gap that is January-August. Fall is always crowded.

*From a business perspective it's probably a good thing moving outside of Fall.

Errr, they're filling the gap between January and August how exactly? Order and Bloodbourne in q1 then what?

Also so you would be ecstatic if Somy had exclusives his fall alongside uncharted, more so than their current output.

I meant in general.

Having more games shouldn't be a problem, imo. And just because a game comes out doesn't mean you have to get it at launch.

Also, some people don't like the games you listed so they would want more 1st party output from Sony. Just something to think about.

Sure, why not have both. I would love that :)

I think that was my question.

Oh God, you were being serious ..

I know you Kowenicki, so I won't even bother trying to .. no wait, I just don't want to waste my time. Nothing personal.

You dont know me... how could you?

So in your OP you added that it is good from a business persepctive.  I agree.

Now.... that is interesting though isnt it?  For it to be good from a business perspective someone has to pay....  You.

If they released some games now then you could buy the ones you want now and pick up some others cheaper after a month or two, thus saving money and getting some lovely 1st party immediately.... picking up those 3rd parties later.

Are you seriously saying that if they announce later that Uncharted 4 and GT 7 were coming in November you would be angry and disappointed?

This is and incredible thread and a rather telling and transparent one.

Its gold.

Of course not?!

I'm just saying, Sep-Nov is already filled up with A LOT of great games, why not release them a little later, so that everybody wins? Sony will get their money either way i'm sure.

I like when games are spaced out, so that it doesn't feel like their is a huge vacuum inbetween games.

I don't understand what point you're trying to make here.

He's saying Sony is smart to hold onto their exclusives for times when there aren't so many big third party games coming out.

no, he is saying he is glad they are doing that.  he is glad that there are none of his favourite 1st party games this holiday.

Okay, Kowenicki. Okay.
