He said it himself, that it was gimmicky, but I agree, that's the best fucking gimmick ever. I already have a smart phone, I might as well put it to good with that bitching new Pip Boy. It's completely optional if you wanna use your smart phone as a second screen and the pip boy is for the real hardcore fans willing to shell out the cash for it.

It definitely is, though I do enjoy using them for both the Wii U and NDS/3DS.

Off TV play is fun and the second screen for the DS is pretty handy and would like to see the next handheld use 2 screens as well

When they are not used, yes. When they are used properly and well (Lego City Undercover) then it is brilliant.

i tuned into the conference for about 5 minutes right when he said that, don't know who that was speaking but his unprofessional comments and cursing made me turn it off.
Have respect for other peoples work just like you would yours. The shade he clearly was aiming at nintendo was undeserving, and i think continues to show that behind the scene something is wrong with nintendo and 3rd party companies.

I laughed that he practically stole the exact layout of the second screen Nintendo utilizes in the Wii U, while trying to make fun of it. At the end of the day, I don't care about what Bethesda says. It played out like a kid trying to act cool in front of his/her friends.

They won't touch Nintendo's E3 direct and doubt they will beat Sony's, Microsoft's, or Square Enix's conferences.

That many took quite personally. I don't think he was wrong to call it a gimmick, because it largely is. It can be done well, and that's what they're hoping to do with it.

But about Wii U, it would be pretty much the same console just less expensive/better tech with the same games ( for most) without second screen, it's mostly a comfort gimmick, it's not like the wiimote
